Get in contact with us providing basic info about your date, venue, approximate number of guests and any initial ideas you might have about your cake table or wedding cake.
Please also indicate whether it will be served as your dessert or later on as this will have an impact on the serving size/number of sweet treats per guest. At this stage we’ll also send you out our flavour list to look at.
Once we know this information we can get back to you with an idea of cake quantites and an estimated price for your cake/cake table - we can work to any budget so just let us know if you have an amount in mind. This is also the point at which we can arrange to try some samples if you like - see our FAQs page for more info.
It’s great meeting couples face to face if possible and we can chat about the details of your big day from setup times to liaising with your florist if you’re looking for fresh flowers on your cake. Although, if we’re unable to meet up we can cover it all by email too.
Having chosen your cake options we can give you a final price including delivery, setup and stand hire if required. We’ll send you out your invoice with bank transfer details for payment - we ask for a 50% deposit with the remainder being due 3 weeks before your big day.
Once your deposit has been paid, your booking is confirmed and you can relax! We’ll be in touch closer to the time to confirm final details and liaise with your venue.

+ When should I order my cake table?
We take bookings up to a year in advance - as a small business there is only so much we can take on although subject to the availability of date required we may be able to accept short notice cakes, so please just get in touch!
+ We have a specific budget - can you work to it?
Of course! We work to a wide range of budgets so please indicate if you have a specific budget and we’ll come up with options to suit it.
+ Can we taste your cakes?
Absolutely - we offer a sample box of up to three flavours from our menu - we charge £10 to cover our costs which is redeemable against the final cost if you go ahead with the booking. Please get in touch to arrange a samples box.
+ Do you do gluten free and vegan options?

+ Do you have any nut free options?
We have a number of nut free cake options and can also make our cake flavours that normally contain nuts, without them. Please note - that while all efforts are made to avoid cross contamination, we work in a kitchen which handles nuts and peanuts on a daily basis. For this reason we would not be able to guarantee that traces of nuts (or peanuts) are not present in our cakes.
+ Can we have different flavours on different tiers?
Sure - although we do recommend having the cake fully iced (rather than a naked style) to cover the different colours of the sponges - unless that’s the look you’re going for.
+ What's the deal with deposits?
We require a 50% deposit to secure your order which is deducted from the final balance payable (3 weeks prior to the event). Deposits are non refundable. If an order is cancelled after it has been booked, we lose business from potential clients that were turned away to reserve your event date.
+ Do you hire cake stands and boards?
We hire out cake stands for £5 and a bundle of boards for displaying cake table items for £10 - one bundle is enough for smaller tables whilst 2 is usually enough for larger cake tables. Breakages deposits are taken for all equipment (amount depends on how much is being hired) - these are fully refundable upon the equipment’s safe return to our bakery. We ask that stands and boards are preferably returned on the Monday/Tuesday following the wedding, however we understand this is not always possible so a later return date may be possible, please speak to us to arrange this. Any damages to equipment will incur a reduction of deposit returned in order to cover costs of replacement.
+ Do you use fresh flowers on cakes?
We are happy to liaise with your florist to arrange fresh flowers for your cake and will happily decorate your cake with them on the day. Please note that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt and other contaminants. You agree to check with your florist if your choice of flowers is safe to use on cakes.
+ Do you deliver?
We deliver within the city of Glasgow for free. Deliveries outwith this area will be subject to delivery charge - please contact us to find out more.
+ Can I pick my wedding cake up?
If you have ordered a single tier cake we are happy for you to come and pick it up from the bakery. Please make sure you have a flat space available for the cake, preferably in the boot but not on a car seat as these slope and the cake may slip/start to lean!! Please note that the cake is not our responsibility once it has left the bakery. We deliver all 2/3 tier cakes and cake table orders to ensure the tiers are stacked correctly and the sweet treats look beautifully presented.
+ Do you set the cake up?
Yes, if we are delivering the cake, we will liase with your venue and set the cake up/decorate with any fresh flowers and set up smaller pieces on our boards for cake tables.If you have a cake topper please leave this well labelled at the venue and we’ll pop it on the top for you!
